Analysis information Through January-June 2006 the total value of investments into the capital stock of large and medium-sized companies was RUR 7,176.9 million (62% of the total investment value of the region), or in comparable prices -81.7 % to the period of January-June 2005. Capital investments were mainly spent on construction of non-residential buildings (RUR 3,529.6 million), purchasing machinery, equipment, tools and stock (RUR 3,211.6 million), housing construction (RUR 423.9 million). In January-June 2006 as compared to January-June 2005 the share of investments into housing decreased by 0.7%, into buildings (except residential) and constructions dropped from 53.2% to 49.2%, with the increase of investments into machinery, equipment, tools and stock from 40.0% to 44.7%. The main source of investments through January-June 2006 was the companies' equities: they made for 61.0% of investments, with 39.0% of investments made with liabilities. The equities used for investments were formed through profit (26.4%) (accumulation fund) and depreciation (73.2%). The budget structure comprised 50.5% of funds from Federal and local budgets.
