Standing commission for economy, municipal property and city development

Scope of supervision:

a) reviewing draft resolutions of the City Council:

- on the city economic development plans and programmes;

- on defining procedures for providing and requisition of land plots, on setting the regulations for utilization of land in the city territory;

- on the territorial structure of the city;

- on defining terms and procedures for privatisation of municipal companies and assets;

- on defining procedures for providing, renting and selling premises to the property of individuals and companies;

- on setting procedures for recognising municipal dwelling houses and residential premises unfit for permanent living, and defining procedures for conversion of municipal residential premises into non-residential premises;

- on defining procedures for utilization and disposal of non-residential premises;

- on the city development general plan and town-planning regulations;

- on defining regulations for using the water-intake facilities designed for the population’s needs satisfaction, as well as for sanitary protection zones of water bodies, in accordance with sanitary regulations;

b) dealing with other issues within its supervision.
